Why macurial?
The name "MACURIAL" holds special significance with dual meanings. It is derived from "mercurial", which signifies liveliness, speed and changeability. In the world of business, and sales in particular, change can happen rapidly and unpredictably, often impacting a company's ability to achieve its business objectives. However, when data is leverage and analyzed effectively, it can reveal valuable insights that enhance sales strategy, inform decision making, and build confidence in achieving desired business outcomes. This fusion of data and sales strategy is reflected in the merging of our founders' surnames, Macdonald and Curiel, to create our company name: MACURIAL

Meet The Team
Eric Curiel
Co-Founder & Director of Analytics
Eric began his career in tech sales, where he discovered a passion for using data and technology to boost performance. After a successful career in sales, he pursued an MBA and studied data analytics. Since 2017, he’s worked with GTM leaders and executives across SaaS, Life Sciences, and Manufacturing to deliver impactful analytics solutions—from building predictive forecast models to creating customer-facing portals and executive dashboards. He’s led data engineering and BI teams, developed KPIs, and designed data-driven strategies to improve business outcomes. Eric thrives at the intersection of Sales and Science, where he can turn innovative ideas into reality. Outside of work, he enjoys basketball, seeing national parks, and exploring new countries.
Rick Macdonald
Co-Founder & Director of Sales Strategy
Rick is co-founder and Director of Sales Strategy at macurial. Rick has 15+ years in sales leadership expertise coupled with data & analytics capabilities that have helped businesses scale, functions become more profitable and people develop to their potential. Rick is at his best when tasked with discovering insights and translating them into sales growth and business profit. He is a creative thinker, adept at simplifying complexity, and passionate about delivering results. Rick is an avid skier, recreational golfer, and amateur chef!
Felix Gallet
Data Scientist
Felix started his career with a strong background in international business and management, later specializing in data analytics and AI through his MSc. He has hands-on experience developing AI models and building data automation tools. He also gained consulting experience working on strategic projects and developed strong financial and operational insights through roles in retail management and business analysis. Passionate about combining business and technology, he focuses on creating data-driven solutions that deliver real impact. Outside work, he enjoys swimming, tinkering with electronics, and learning about the latest technologies.
